Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre

The Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre (HSCPC) is an organization that aims to empower the public to take part in enhancing safety and security by reporting any criminal activity and through volunteering to help remove litter, unwanted graffiti, conduct safety patrols, discourage speeding, promote safety education and respond to neighbourhood concerns and questions.

The Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre (HSCPC) is the recipient of an Award of Excellence in the Healthy City For All category from the City of Vancouver.

Clair MacGougan, executive director of HSCPC, is the recipient of the Jim and Vicki Chu Community Safety Leader Award. This award recognizes exceptional individuals who have provided outstanding contributions towards preventing crime and improving safety at the community and neighbourhood levels. Clair MacGougan has volunteered with youth at risk in his 20s and 30s, pouring out his passion to develop the HSCPC, working closely with victims, offenders and police. Congratulations Clair!

Summer Day Camps (Jul/Aug) registration begins:
